A little montage of the sound recordings I made in Berlin 7th-11th September 2011.

The most special soundbites are the ones made from the interactive sound sculptutre “Gallery of the Missing” by Via Lewandowsky. It consists of showcases, which visitors cannot look into. They contain acoustic descriptions of missing objects. You can select fragments by walking around with a wireless headset. There was hardly anybody in the museum so I could freely move around and “compose” my own set of soundbites and static.

Some of the other sounds are: Electric doors (0’17”), traffic, a tuning orchestra, church announcement and organ, steps in a greenhouse, pedestrians, a block party and a lot of U-Bahn (I know, I like subways).
